Cleaning Tip: Stainless Steel Cookware

Bar Keeper’s Friend is a simple, inexpensive remedy for cleaning even the most burnt stainless steel pans. It also whisks away the mottled, rainbow-like discoloration that can occur from cooking certain foods at high heat. You can find Bar Keeper’s Friend at your local grocery store in the cleaning supply aisle.

The cookware shown in our cleaning test is a Tramontina Heavy-Weight 18/10 Stainless Steel Frypan. The pan is dishwasher-safe and for tougher cleaning jobs, it wipes up easily with a little Bar Keeper’s Friend.

Cleaning Tip: Removing Product Labels

The best label-removing product we’ve found is Goo-Gone (“Desolve-It” is another alternative).

Instructions:  Spray on Goo-Gone. Let it sit for a few moments, and then peel off the label. Once the label is off, remove any remaining Goo-Gone by wiping clean with a vinegar and water solution or wash in the dishwasher, if the product is dishwasher-safe.

Whenever possible, we pass along all manufacturer warranties and assist you with claims. Specific products sold by Resort Supply are covered by manufacturer warranties, and are guaranteed to be free from defect for the specified length of the warranty. Any piece found to be defective under normal use within the warranty period will be considered for replacement or credit by the manufacturer. A manufacturer's limited warranty does not cover defects caused by accidents, abuse, or misuse of the product.
